Love this place! It's a great place for an amazing burger, fries and a good beer. Dallas is an amazing server, always friendly and never forgets our faces and always remembers our drinks.

22 years in service, grill open till 10pm, for various burgers and other menu items, fryers open till 12am, for deep fried items, they have pool tables I had a lot of fun there very cozy and the owner is very cool and her employees aren't so bad themselves. I recommend stopping in for a beverage or a snack or both, shoot a game of pool or just watch some sports.
Might not be the best burger in Idaho, but my first time here was a good one. The Ripcurl was solid, the fries and onion rings were great! Good vibe and I'll return.
The Holy Grail of dive bars, a veritable Nirvana!!! The people that work here are phenomenal, super personable and great skill set. This is a beer and shot burger place that caters to the social elite of Idaho Falls, pillars of society. The big cheeseburger and Frisco are my go to burgers.
A classic Neighborhood Bar, a rare thing these days, and definitely NOT fancy, Blue Wave has a long list of burgers - very good burgers - and a generous Happy Hour. I got mine to go, but will sit down next time. It's nice to experience that familiarity and comraderie that the staff has with each other, as well as with half the people who walk through the door.

The atmosphere at The Blue Wave was perfect—relaxed but lively, with just the right vibe for a great night out. But what truly made the evening unforgettable were Murphy and Karen. Murphy was behind the bar, and he was an absolute pro—friendly, fast, and knew exactly what to recommend. His cocktails were perfectly balanced and full of flavor. You could tell he genuinely enjoyed what he was doing, which made the whole experience that much better. Meanwhile, Karen was in the kitchen absolutely crushing it. Every dish that came out was delicious. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. It’s rare to find a bar where the drinks and the food are equally amazing, but Karen and Murphy make it happen. If you’re anywhere near The Blue Wave, do yourself a favor and stop in. And if Murphy’s bartending and Karen’s cooking—you’re in for a great night!
